  1. Hello everyone sailing in the Rumble on Wednesday.

Just a quick update from the “usual” Weds night routine. As the start line is a 30 minute motor from the dock out at Spectacle Island, I would REALLY like everyone to the boat by 5 PM so we can rig up and then be off the dock at 5:15. There are a couple of unusual courses on Weds night (luckily I designed them so I have some idea of what is going on) and it would be really good to get out there early to figure out which course will be used and what kite we need for the angles. Oh, and if we are going around the course with port or starboard roundings… 🙂

We will be back to the dock a bit later than usual as well, but should get a lovely sunset and a fun night of racing. We have nine on with Erin and Deanna doing some cross-training. We also have Anders on “standby”, so if anything comes up and you can’t sail reach out to him first to sub in, OK??

Look forward to seeing you all on the water soon.

  2. What is it with Wednesday and storms this year?? But, we ARE racing tonight, here is the update from Lance 1 minute ago:

“The rain continues to move up the coast, but there does not appear to be any thunder or lightning in the storm. As of 1530 it is our intention to race tonight. Hope to see you out there.”

So, dress warmly and wear your foulies!!! See you shortly.
